Before we open our 4th location in New York City’s historic American Express Building, we thought we should share some fun facts about our new location, the neighborhood & offer some hot spots for pre or post Shobha services: brunch, happy hour & everything in between!
Say hello to Shobha’s 4th home: the old American Express Building located at 65 Broadway. Built in 1914-1917 by James l. Aspinwall from the firm Renwick, Aspinwall & Tucker, it has been dubbed “among the ancient landmarks” of lower Broadway & NYC. In 1995, it was officially declared a landmark by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission. Can you say awesome? Not only will you be enjoying some high-end hair removal services, but knowing you’re visiting a historic landmark, well that’s simply classy. With two eagles adorning the building & its elegant “neoclassical” style, its hard to miss.
