7 NYFW S/S 2015 Brow Trends

Topics: Brows, Celebrity News, Posts

As NYFW comes to a close in NYC we couldn’t not take note of the brows gracing the spring/summer 2015 runways.  Lots of designers are keeping brows big, neat & natural like Kate Spade.  Oscar de la Renta, Nanette Lapore & Carolina Herrera are romanticizing brows with soft arches.

Then there are those that have strayed from the norm & are taking risks- & we’re admittedly loving their bold choices.

Rodarte, perhaps the riskiest of the bunch has throw it back to the ‘90s & rocks the runway with ‘faux’ pierced brows. We love this non-permanent adorning option (the rings aren’t pierced but rather glued on) for adding just the right amount of edge to your look.

Next, we have Alexander Wang who is lightening the whole face up with lighter brows perfect for a whimsical spring/summer look.

Quite the opposite of Wang is Triya who rocked big blurry brows. Perhaps best suited for a night time look.

Everyone’s talking about DKNY’s baby hair look but we’re in love with the big & wild brows.

Peter Som is keeping things light & soft so much so that brows are a close match to each complexion & almost invisible at first glance.

Everything about the eyes & brows at Thakoon are glossed & squeaky clean. Think ’90s hair gel for your brows.

Badgley Mischka gives a nod to last seasons unicorn hair by bringing pastel brows front & center for spring/summer 2015.

Which was your favorite look? Would you try any of these fierce looks – maybe even just for a day?
