We wanted to thank all of you for your patience over the last few months as we were closed. All NYC salons, except Madison, are open as of today.
SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Due to being closed for the last four months, we have a back log of folks that want to come in and see us. We are asking for your continued patience while scheduling with us. We are working at about 50% capacity because we have to make sure we have enough time to clean and also that appointments are staggered to ensure that we are social distancing properly. I know many of you are calling us and only getting through to voicemail. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are working as fast as we can!
APPOINTMENTS STILL AVAILABLE FOR THIS WEEK
We are busy this week with a lot of appointments, but we still have some scattered openings depending on when and where you are looking to come in. We highly recommend booking online or via our Shobha App, available on both iPhone and Android.
IF YOU ARE STILL NOT ABLE TO GET YOUR APPOINTMENT, TRY JOINING OUR WAITLIST
It happens, right? Clients cancel last minute or a Specialist is able to stay an extra hour and we end up having some slots open up. When this happens, we can call you if you are on this waitlist and maybe squeeze you in sooner. We recommend you add your name to this list AND also make an appointment for later on, since this list will not guarantee that you will get an appointment this week. It’s just a way for us to know who is interested in case a last minute slot does open up.
CONTACTLESS PAYMENT
Please download the Shobha App (on iPhone or Android) and add a credit card to your account so your checkout will be as quick and easy as possible. We are also encouraging tips on credit card so that money handling is minimized. If you have a package, but would like to tip your Specialist, we do need a card on file to be able to do so.
NO MASK REMOVAL IN OUR SALONS
We are not performing any services where a client’s mask would need to be removed, so that means no lip or chin sugaring/threading/laser. We will resume these services when it is safe to do so. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we want to reduce the risk as much as possible for everyone.
MODEL CALL FOR OUR MARYLAND CLIENTS
We are shooting a few videos for our Sugaring Kit and need some models with hair to demo the kit. Legs, arms, underarms, lips and chins are the only areas that we can videotape. (No bikinis please.) We will gift you with a Shobha Gift Card and also a free service at the time of the shoot – please email us at thoughts@myshobha.com if you’re interested.
