Other Details: Shobha, a waxing salon that gained popularity in NYC due to its proximity to the Conde Nast offices, opened up shop in DC at 1730 M Street NW. Ladies celebrated the opening with sparkling water and wine, Georgetown Cupcakes, passed bites and a DJ, and took the opportunity to meet the owner, Shobha Tummala. Huxley owner Ryan Seelbach popped into the shop to welcome his new neighbor: the salon is right next to his hot nightclub. We better not see a hair out of place next time we’re near Dupont!
