The Oscars came & went before I knew it. Literally, it was 6 pm one minute & 11:30 pm the next. Despite a lot of buzz about how boring they were, I still found the show totally amusing & managed to cry every other speech.
As far as trends go, white was definitely a red carpet theme last night. However, Viola Davis wowed in a gorgeous green Vera Wang dress. Gwyn also took my breath away in that cape dress. Capes are in (at least that’s what the 5 year old I babysit insists). Meryl Streep also channeled her inner Oscar last night when she won best actress. I mean, if I won an Oscar, I would want to look exactly like one too. Finally, let’s talk about Rooney Mara’s brows…wow.
