the length of the procedure will vary from person to person. being that it’s a semi-permanent procedure, we take our time mapping out exactly where & how you want your brows to be shaped. microblading can take up to two hours between drawing the brow & doing the procedure. your touch-up appointment is scheduled 4-6 weeks later & can take anywhere up to an hour.
unlike a traditional tattoo, microblading uses semi-permanent tattoo pigments that are implanted into the superficial layers of the skin which means that it will naturally fade over time. several factors can also expedite fading, so we recommend staying out of the sun & avoid applying glycolic acid and retinol near your brows.
yes, if a specialist creates a hair-like stroke that you don’t like, we would recommend letting your brows fade out as much as possible & then we can go back in with a color closest to your skin complexion to camouflage the undesired hair-like strokes.
we will fill in the gaps between the hair-like strokes with small pin-point dots. often referred to as ‘eyebrow/microshading,' which gives the brow a gradient high definition appearance.
we apply two topical numbing creams to help with any discomfort someone might feel. one before the procedure and then again another one after we make a few incisions. this minimizes the discomfort to the point that many people do not even feel it.
we cannot guarantee identical brows, besides as the saying goes "your eyebrows are sisters, not twins."
microblading is a two-appointment procedure. your second appointment is your touch-up and scheduled 4-6 weeks after your initial procedure.
