Galentine’s day is only like the best. day. ever.
It’s the day before Valentine’s Day dedicated to kickin’ it with your best gal pals. In the great words of Leslie Knope from Parks & Rec, “February 14, Valentine’s Day, is about romance but February 13, Galentine’s Day, is about celebrating your lady friends! It’s wonderful & it should be a national holiday.” We agreeLeslie, we agree.
Here’s 3 fun ways to celebrate the holiday in our books:
1. Host a pamper party
Get all your friends together for laughs, bubbly & bikini waxes by having a Shobha Party! Yep, our team can come to your house just like we do for our A-list celeb clients for some VIP treatment. (You & your loved one will enjoy the results of your services).
2. Gift your gal pals
Whether gag gifts or daily necessities, show your friends that you love them with gifts that they can’t refuse. No one wants more somethings to clutter up her closet, or worse, get put in the re-gifting pile awaiting the next holiday party. Opt for adding a little lux to their everyday with a candle. One of our personal favorites is the Red Flower Moroccan Rose Little Flower Candle. It has beautiful scents of essential oils & exotic red roses such as refined rose otto, Bulgarian rose & Damascus rose. Plus, each mini candle burns for 10 hours & comes with an adorable matchbook in each box (it’s the grownup version of getting a toy at your birthday with the batteries already included).
3. Have a “starlet” night in
Put your Netflix account to noble use & binge watch your fave TV shows or any movie with a strong female lead- truly anything with J-Law in it will do. Btw, all diets are out the window (i.e., calories together don’t count)! Keep things classy with a strict wine only beverage policy & make sure you’re overstocked with savory & sweet snacks like popcorn, ice cream, cheese & chocolate. Go on, put on your softpants & press play.
