Shobha Nawina 3 columbus circle, 212-971-77771 This India-inspired spa has a cool, exotic vibe & specializes in sugaring and threading. the former was efective and pleasant; the latter unnerving. instead of tweezing away strays, Nawina held one end of a string in her mouth & threaded them. which pinceh a little and was way too close for comfort. still, thanks to the flawless results, we've already gone back. $60 and up.
